Requirements
Gunn Wharf Quay Shopping Centre required an unobtrusive tracking system to monitor the flow of customers around the centre. The aim was to maximise the revenue for each tennant and advertising boards whilst reducing bottle necks around conjestion areas, such as lifts and toilets.
Analysis
With 95 outlets, 20 restaurants & bars, a 14 screen cinema and a bowling alley needing to be covered, various directional and omni-directional antennas needed to be tested. The external antenna needed to be capable of working under marine conditions. Panorama's wide range of GPRS antennas met all these criteria and were chosen for the centre.
Solution
Panorama's GPRS antennas continue to ensure ample network coverage for the 'Ped Tracking System' in Portsmouth Harbour and the surrounding area.
